When company signs and logos are taken down, they get demolished. Character recycles the characters into individual design objects. Character dismantles the letters, clean them up, add a new transformer, LED lights and the power cord, and put them back together.
The letters are protected against rain (IP23). The re-installed LED’s have a life span of 30 000 hours. This procedure has been tested to meet the European electricity standards.
