The installation is currently on show at MUSEUM. beyond museum in Seoul. I absolutely love this work of art, all tough it’s a bit kitschy. Have a look at Dezeen for more in images. source: Dezeen

Floating bacon light on the river

New York based designers the living have made a new project called amphibious architecture. Plastics tubes with bacons of light are floating in the river. The tube are measuring the quality of the water and the amount of fish. This data will be translated into the color of light of the bacon. The project must make visitors aware of the eco environment of the river. Although this is yet another eco awareness interacting dynamic light installation, I must admit I quit like this one! the hardware looks cool as well as you cab see here. Floating light on a river have some natural poetry, maybe because of the sparkling reflectance and movement. by the way the living have also made the interesting project: living light in Seoul. source:designboom
