Countdown trafficlight by Stankovic

A new concept by Serbian designer Damjan Stankovic called Eko light. A regular traffic light fixture incorporates a circular, visual countdown timer around the red light. Stankovic’s idea, though, is that rather than enable quicker green-light launches, the countdown light would serve to de-stress drivers by providing them feedback of exactly how much longer they’ll have to wait.

It may be not a really new concept, but I like the integration of countdown and light itself. Rather then stick another countdown device on the pole besides the traffic light fixtures.
