Simple lights from recycled packaging
[posted by Benz Roos]
Simple technique, simple effect made out recycled food and drink packaging by dutch artist Anke Weiss. Packaging lights show the transformation of a mass-product into a unique item. The packaging survives the point where it usually turns into garbage and becomes a product itself. source: toxel

Hideyuki nakayama architecture – ‘O’ house
[posted by Benz Roos]
The ‘O’ house by hideyuki nakayama architecture is located in Kyoto Japan. I really like the simple lighting design of this little house. I think the architecture of the house gets far more special at night, when the curtain are closed. source: Designboom

Wax fixture by Christian Metzner
[posted by Benz Roos]

This light fixture by Cristian Metzner is made out of wax. The heat caused by the GLS bulb will melt the wax. In this way each luminaire will be different from each other. Also man will be aware of the amount of energy used by the GLS. When the wax is totally melted away, the luminaire is ‘away’ as well. In order to maintain the fixture, you shouldn’t switch it on too often! I like the idea of change disappearing products. source:The Junction
